Hey All,
Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm in need of some advice. I purchased a ring in March, received it in April. Now, I've been wearing it and last week I noticed that I was missing a diamond. I was very upset, contacted the vendor, and mailed the ring back. Now, I received an invoice for repair, however I'm shocked as I fully expected this to be covered under warranty as 1. I haven't had the ring that long, 2. I have worn the ring daily and expected the ring to withstand normal wear 3. I choose the design because of its security and did not expect to loose diamonds after such a short time.
Now, can someone please (kindly, 'cause I'm really frustrated right now) explain why I should be required to pay the repair? I am prepared to pay for the shipping return, however right now I am regretting not going local. Now I'm not going to mention the vendor name because they have been excellent with communication so far. I'm just wanting a non-bias perspective 'cause I'm upset about this issue and may not see the other side. Please (kindly) shed some light.
