Yes, and what I love about it is that there is no inclusion.
The VVS2 is an indented natural that a prong could cover.

Wink is making a ring for it now, so the pictures will have to wait.

luvmysparklies, your review did convince me to have the stone sent out so I could take a look myself. Thanks.

So you are the lucky one !
I saw in this thread that you also have a 3ct OEC ?
How do the 2 diamonds compare ?
Will you use white or yellow metal ?
I think you did a great bargain, have a lot of fun with your new diamond.
I sold this one, now I buy an Asscher.

Very exciting quicksilvo. You got a gorgeous stone! Yes, what did you do with your 3 carat Old European cut stone? Trade it or sell it or keep it?

Stephan, I can''t wait to see your assher. It sounds great!

Stephan,
Yes, I also have a 3 ct OEC. The best way to describe the difference in most lighting conditions is that the Infinity stone looked more alive. It was also whiter than my OEC, both table up and pavilion up. There were a couple of lighting conditions where the OEC had more fire, and it was significantly more "blocky" or larger splashes of fire than the Infinity. It took less movement of the Infinity stone to cause it to sparkle which I liked. I spent several days comparing the two side by side. I am going to have the Infinity set in platinum.

Patty,
I don''t know how much I can say here, but I am trying to sell the OEC stone through one of the well known PS vendors.

That's a good description an a matter of taste.
With Paul's diamonds, you choose for scintillation, perfect light return (makes diamond look whiter) and SPREAD.
The splashes of fire are smaller than an 8*, but you will have much more splashes.

That would be my choice too !

Ah, good luck with your OEC quicksilvo. There are a lot of people out there who love the older cuts, especially a 3 carat one!

And your new M will be beautiful in platinum. It''s a gorgeous stone!
