Remaking the head of my halo

hello,

does anyone know if any of the online vendors will "remake" the head of a ring? i had my ring hand made by a local jeweler and i''m not too happy with the proportions...the bezel around the diamond is thicker than i like and the outer halo is also thicker and not perfectly round.

does anyone know of a good jeweler in the chicago or milwaukee area who can repair rings? i do not want to take it to the jeweler.

i wanted to upload pics, but i can''t figure out how to resize on my camera (and i don''t have photoshop).

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stein''s on Wisconsin Ave (in Milwaukee) fixed my mom''s ring. She wears her grandmother''s and the PLT was almost gone on the shank

I think it was done to less than 1 mm. Looks great now.
