Rectangular Cushion Pendant

I received a rectangular cushion gem (sorry, it''s not a diamond) as a birthday present. Originally, I wanted to set it as a ring, but am concerned that it''s too fragile. If you have any pictures of or ideas for a pendant, please let me know. Thanks!
