Hello everyone -

I received my sapphire today. I took a couple of pictures of it but my pictures cannot do the stone justice. It looked lilac(y) on the website but in person it is a true medium pink. There do not seem to be any other traces of color but a beautiful even pink throughout the entire stone. I had a nice conversation with Andy at Gemfix this morning and he was very helpful in answering all my questions. We spoke of cutters here in the US vs those that are abroad, treatments in colored gemstones, sizes, shapes you name it! I have decided to keep the stone - it is way too pretty not too. I will attach my pics but please note that they do not do the stone justice. The dark spots at the top of the stone must be a reflection of something because the stone does not have any spots. The color of the second picture is more of s true color of the stone. The top one does look a little lilac to me.

I think that will be a great combo! gorgeous pink gem and a lovely setting to boot!

I love your sapphire- I think it will look great in the setting you chose!

The sapphire is 2.61 cts - 8.92 x 7.24 x 5.04mm. Am I allowed to say where I got the picture from? I am probably going to have Whiteflash make a setting very similar to that one.

Very pretty pink sapphire. I've been thinking about buying from Gemfix so it's good to know that you're happy with your stone.
