Receipt / Proof of Purchase Information

When purchasing a diamond from out of state to avoid sales tax, or purchasing a diamond all together, what should i make sure i get in terms of a reciept, proof of purchase, certificate, return policy, etc.

Any help would be appreciated....

If your diamond has a grading report, you should receive it of course.

You definitely should ask for printed receipt.

Many websites have their return policies online but it won’t hurt to ask it in written.

I think everybody should clarify it before purchasing of any diamond from any vendor – no matter whether it is internet or brick-n-mortar store.

If the company is solid, you won’t have any problems in getting these documents. Otherwise, it can be an indication of possible problems in the future.
