Yay! I feel so proud of myself. I went down to FL this past weekend and got a fair bit of stuff done. I didn''t think it''d be so productive but it actual was!
1) Flowers. We''re DIY-ing the flowers and got about 90% of what needs to be done. See my thread about the flowers.
2) Photographers. We''re going with one that will have to travel but still met with my other top choice that''s local. She''s good but I just like the other photog''s work better. And spoke to FI and he said we can go ahead and cover what''s needed for the deposit and my folks can cover the rest. Still need to speak to the parents about that.
3) Officiant: Met with my dad''s priest and went through what is required etc. Turns out there''s not much we need to do
4) General scoping out weather etc: BEAUTIFUL weather in FL this time of year. Which is awesome because it''s already in the upper 30''s in Chicago, so getting upper 70s and 80s in FL will be a-okay with me and I''m sure the other OOT guests.
