I took some pics of this quartz crystal from Brazil, that has acicular Dumortierite inclusions inside it. I used to think Papagoite/ajoite was the top dog of blue color inside quartz....but...now I am now a believer that these specimens take the cake. The blue color is vibrant and rich, reminiscent of the hauyne or cobalt spinel we were discussing on the other thread.
I figured I would make a necklace out of this piece. Not sure what else to do with it.
By drilling a hole through the top with my itty bitty diamond bits, I can then mount a jump ring through it and wear it as a necklace.....sort of like my JXR ammy's that I did the same thing to.
