Thank you for your replies. I am looking for a round diamond, budget around $15K. I have seen a lot of antique settings and a Tacori (sp?) one that I liked as well. As for using an independent appraiser, just want to have the security of someone that actuall knows what they are doing evaluating the stone. I have been looking over this website for a couple of days but am still intimidated by all their is to learn. Since I have a relatively tight timeline (3 weeks), want to see what is possible.
Thanks again for all of your help!!
It''s beautiful, I definitely recommend it. The specs are right where I like them, J/VS2 is an incredible value, it''s going to look almost like a 2 carat stone...overall awesome!!!Date: 5/7/2007 6:09:14 PM

Talked with the folks at White Flash and they recommended the following stone. Would appreciate any feedback.

thanks,

I think you''re smart in wanting to have a $15,000 investment verified as being worthy by an independent appraiser. That''s a lot of money, and I personally would want to know everything I could about an item I was investing that kind of money. I would want to know what the appraiser thought of that stone, both pros and cons.Date: 5/6/2007 10:35:47 PM
