Realistic bling wishlist for 2017

Yeah, I know! Another one of those!

I'll start:

1. A dressy Franck Muller watch (not the Richard Mille, that's just toooo expensive) - shown below
2. Set my ten 44pts diamonds into a full tennis bracelet, will have to purchase the extra diamonds needed
3. Something Cartier or VCA (I have so many on my wishlist, but will have to be selective and judicious)
4. Perhaps...just perhaps..get another pair of earrings, or upgrade my existing BGD ones..we'll see...

DH and I have a daily consultation over my dry erase board of listed jewelry projects. This is how I firmly hold him to deadlines, agreements, and specs. Top (bling) priorities of the year are:

1. Engraved milgrain design on the band side of my partial eternity ring
2. 4-5 ctw H&A diamond studs (still undecided on shape)
3. VCA Alhambra 20 motif YG necklace in MOP(or)Onyx
4. A new set of 22kt YG semanario bangles with 7 (25 point) diamonds in each bangle.
5. A custom, colored stone ring

I've agreed that some of these items will be "gifts" (birthday/anniversary) that I am aware of, even though I am a surprise loving type of gal!

1. Dainty, E-W baguette/round 1/2 Eternity, edged with millgrain, set in WG for my Anniversary.
2. Bespoke Anniversary Band: 7 Asschers (25 - 33pts each), G, SI-VS, 1.00:1 l x w ratio, set in u-prong WG band with melee set along the profile the u-prongs, on both sides.
#1 is far more probable than #2 for 2017...lol!!

I didn't really have a wish list for 2017; however, was fortunate enough to be able to upgrade to an ACA stone right after the new year! It was a thought in the back of my mind but the reality of it all was quite a lovely surprise!!

Im a little afraid to. Too soon. I hope I chose the right vendor and right setting. This may get out on hold if I do a little damage elsewhere... don't want to say yet. Don't want to get my hopes up.

Well in the end, I decided against getting my trilogy reset. So I went for earrings and a pendant. The jeweller was great, he suggested a soft rub over setting to match my Raindance style ring, and they turned out great. He also did them in platinum for less than I was quoted elsewhere for just the pendant, so I'm thrilled. They were only small stones (and oddly all different sizes!) but I think they're perfect for everyday wear.

He's trying to source a semi mount for my tanzanite, but is having difficulty as he says the stone is large He suggested rhodium plating my tanzanite pendant as it's not something I'll be wearing that often, so didn't think it was worth resetting it.

The ring I was having made when I last posted was delivered in June, and it exceeded all expectations

So that's me done for 2017
