WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Who watched the premier?

I am 100% speechless from what happened at the christening. Wow.

I didn't realize that it's back on, but I just checked my DVR and it's waiting for me. I can't wait to watch it, these women are really the most entertaining people I've ever watched.

Towards the end of the premier, they take it to an entirely new level. So unreal. So sad too.

I can't believe they were able to top the craziness from last year! I am stunned

i was watching it at the gym but left 10 mins before it ended.. WHAT HAPPENED???

Wow.
I cannot believe that these are real people. They must be acting.

I live a town over from them and see them out and about a lot  my sister used to work at the market basket where they would food shop and believe me, Albie is just as beautiful in real life :naughty:

I find them highly irritating and entertaining at the same time. The one thing that really bothers me,though, is that they are having brawls with children present. Not only does it model violent behavior but it appears terribly dangerous!

Thank you for starting this thread.

Wow is right. I was totally blown away by what happened. It was very, very, surprising...but I guess now we know why Teresa flew off the couch at Danielle last year...her nephew.

I have always liked Teresa, I thought she was funny and loyal, definitely crazy in protective way but she was very straightforward. But last night's episode cast her in a new light. Not really a flattering one, either. It's so sad what has happened to her family. Maybe it was Teresa being snobby or her SIL being cold...but either way, that family is very fractured. When things got so heated, Teresa should have just gathered up her children and left...but instead it turned into a brawl which was horrifying--their poor father.

After watching last nite's show I don't think I can continue watching this franchise. If they can do with with cameras running what in he world do they do in the privacy of their home s WITHOUT camera crews/cameras? The Gorga family is 1/2 step up from the Missing Link.

Is it available online? I didn't record it, but now I really want to watch!

I really like Caroline, and I think she's an awesome mom and wife.

I felt for Albie during his struggles with law school, and I'm certain that he could have succeeded with some intervention and instruction with a reading specialist like me. I wast almost tempted to send an email to the show saying "Get that young man a reading specialist!" I work with students who have the same difficulties every single day, and most of them overcome them and move on to succeed in college and beyond. I wish he could have taken one of my college reading classes. ;(

I watched it and I am hooked! Here are my observations....

1. Jacqueline's daughter Ashley is a spoiled little BRAT! She tried to act like she was crying in the office because of her mother's "delivery" of what she said to her, but really she was crying because her mother was telling her NO to an NYC apartment (paid for by Jacqueline and her husband). Ashley annoyed me last season with her attitude and it looks like it is going to continue this season.

2. I LOVE Caroline, but did anyone notice that her face looks a little different in some of the shots? I think something was off with her eyebrows. Like too thin or something?? She is my fav though!

3. I could totally see Theresa being a jealous type and when her brother married Melissa and they started a life together, I think she started to want to "one up" them with regards to her house, money, possessions, etc. But I also feel that Melissa and her sisters are also that way. I can't believe that one sister saying that inviting Theresa was a technicality. I think Theresa went over at the Baptism to say congratulations and her brother and Melissa went a little overboard, particularly when the brother banged on the table. I don't blame Theresa's husband for going over there! I think this whole family is going to make for some dramatic episodes.

Based upon the end where it talks about what we can expect to see during this series, that everyone must start to semi play nice because it looks like they all go on a vacation together and stuff. Might just be for TV though...but I will be watching. I have a weakness for RH of anywhere!

My thoughts EXACTLY about Ashley. She was crying bc she wanted mommy's husband to buy her an apartment. She is such a brat and I feel for Jacqueline bc it seems as if she is trying to do things right.

I also have a hard time watching Teresa knowing that they basically stole 11 million dollars before filing their bankruptcy. Their court papers that have been published are beyond shady IMO.

Looks like it will be a fun season :-)

I'm not too far from them either, hahaha!

So much drama in the first episode! What a way to start out the season!

Glad Danielle is gone...can't believe all this drama with Teresa's family and how we've never heard about it before!

Oh and one other thing about Ashley...she was killing me when she was complaining about commuting and that is why she isn't at work on time or at all. COME ON!!!! She lives in Northern Jersey. I used to commute from Princeton into midtown. What a whiner!!!!!!

Oh and I think Caroline's boys moving out may lead to their own show! just my opinion!

I know, right? Very irresponsible.

For some reason I don't think they'll have their own show...I don't feel a "presence" from them if you know what I mean. I haven't seen anything too interesting about them..

I'm thinking they are HOPING it will lead to their own show but I'm not too sure they will get it. Did anyone see them in Millionaire Matchmaker? Albie is cute but they are too 'tame' for tv standards.

I totally agree with you and AN - I don't think they have enough substance for their own show. But it seemed awfully coincidental that they all of a sudden are moving in together and Christopher is no longer working at the Brownstone. Going off on his own - I see a potential show there. ;)) It'll probably be as much fun as RHOMiami - snoozefest.....

I was cracking up at Ashley complaining that she can't come to work everyday because she has to commute. I am pretty sure Jacqueline spoiled her to death and then expected her to grow our of it when she became an adult. Jacqueline says a ton of times "yeah that is what EVERYONE else does," so at least she is realistic now but Ashley doesn't get it. I have always wondered what happens to these spoiled rich kids when the grow up...looks like half of them can't wipe their own booty.

As far as the fight with Teresa and family, I think it is on par with previous seasons. I don't think the issues are her fault or her brothers, just a lot of miscommunication and quickness to judge between both families. Yeah T's husband shouldn't have gotten physical but what they were saying to her when she went over there to say congrats was out of line as well. What did you expect a big Italian guy to do when they call his wife trash and pound on the table?

My favorite thing about RH is seeing how rich dramatic people live in different areas of the country. Being a socal girl, you do really meet women like the OC ones and my best friend who lives in NY says the upper east side women are quite similar to what is portrayed in the show. NY RHWs are all about status and social circles while OC are all about looks/bodies/brands though they cut themselves up to look uglier than if they naturally aged. Guys in beach cities (BH, OC, Miami) must have a thing for plastic aliens. Also, the shows where there is lots of physical fighting like ATL and NJ, you can see the differences between them too. Even though nobody from any of these cities want these women representing them, I do see how all of them actually do a little bit.

I agree with the pp regarding the fight. I do have to almost side with Teresa(which is a first) when she went to congratulate them and he called her garbage. Apparently in that family, it's one of the worst things you can say considering that they repeatedly called Danielle that word. At this point, the brother and his wife seem to only see negativity when it comes to Teresa and her husband. They were nice and primed for hostility with all of their negative talking regarding Teresa and her husband.
It does seem that Ashley was spoiled as a child and NOW Jaqueline is trying to make some changes. I hope it's not too late for her daughter or she's going to have a hard time adjusting to life. I do think Jaqueline could be a bit nicer in her delivery though.

that's because the guys get a lot of work done too!

I thought it was so dumb how Caroline told Albie to watch out for his brother "because Albie went to college." I feel like she was publicly saying that her son cannot handle real life b/c he didn't go to college and thus needs someone to watch over him.

Also, it's my understanding that Albie never went to class or prepared for class, as he initially attended the same law school as me. Learning disability or not -- if you don't prepare for class and don't go to class you're going to fail out.

But yeah, Teresa is redic and Ashley is a brat. I've decided I like this HW the least b/c they're so gross.

I dunno, I know people who can not prep for cold calls but pull it together for finals. ATL said he was admitted into a provisional program of some kind? If that's true, I have some sympathy for him. Being admitted without the qualifications and then being curved against people who are qualified... oof.

I watched...I am addicted to RHwives of any genre! I love Bravo!,

I think Albie and his bro will be featured, but I feel bad for Caroline's daughter--she gets zero attention.

Sad to see the brawl at the christening. MESSED...UP.

I love Teresa...I hope she does better this season but have a feeling that she's going to be the drama mama.

I LOVE RHWs!!! I am just getting to my DVR with RHW of OC from Sunday night and hopefully I will get to watch RHW of NJ tonight so I can add my .02!

I think, but one never knows with these ladies, that Caroline meant for Albie to watch out for his brother because Albie has already gotten the "leaving home and partying" thing under his belt (when he got his bachelors?). Chris has always lived at home so he never did the "Freshman Partying"......at least that is how I took it. Who knows though? I like Carolyn but her story line is kind of lame lately. Bring on the drama!!

I thought the same thing when Albie failed out of law school. I had heard that he didn't always go to class. I wonder if it was the same in undergrad.

I agree with Ashley being a spoiled brat. She's awful. But, that's par for the course, she's always been that way. It's the total sense of entitlement that is her ultimate downfall. She knows her parents have some money and she thinks or believes that their lifestyle should include her carte-blanche. She wants to be "kept" and live in NYC, work at a PR firm and make no money, but continue to live that 5-star lifestyle a la Sex In The City. That's not the real world and I think Chris (that's his name, right?) was very fair when he said he would pay for her commuting, but she had to work for the life she wants. Everyone has too and she's no exception.

It's also my understanding that Ashley has no "formal education" in so much as she went to college, got a degree...so, you KNOW that her working for the PR agency (and the one she's working for is pretty high brow) was a connection the show and her parents gifted her. She didn't get that on her own merit. Which, of course, is just another form of a hand out. It's not really teaching her anything. She's not out there pounding the NYC pavement looking for an "in"...she just had one handed to her. OF COURSE she's not going to give it her all and show up everyday to prove her worth. Why would she? Her experience, such as it is, is that if this arrangement doesn't work out, there will be another one waiting for her, that's been her experience thus far.

Honestly, I think they should cut the cord with Ashley completely. She's a grown woman who is making grown woman choices. So what if she acts like a child? She's not a child. Take off the kid gloves and force her to sink or swim. They are doing her no favors, long term, by giving her anything when she acts like she does. They are only making it harder for her.

Now, I know a lot of parents do help their kids out--buy their first home, put them through college, help them find a good paying job if they have the connections to do so. Goodness knows my parents helped me. But I think the attitude of the child has so much to with what that help means. If the child can appreciate and grow from it and take it for what it is, that's one thing. If same help is stunting the child, as it is with Ashley, that's another entirely. Within that lies the difference.

Oh totally. Some student do nothing all semester and ace finals, but that's not true for most.

He was probably admitted to the part-time day program, which has a remedial required study component to it. Yes you're graded against the rest of the class, but you have fewer overall credits as you're on a 4-year program, not 3, so you have more time to focus on the 9-10 credits you're taking, as opposed to the 15 credits the majority of the class is taking.
