I've been lurking for some time and truly appreciate how much I've been able to glean from all of your posts! I'm at the buying stage and am looking at the following stones for my girlfriend's e-ring. She likes stones in the 1.7-2 carat range, no darker than G, without eye-visible inclusions. I'm thinking that I should order both of these stones to be sent out so she can take her pick, but I'd appreciate any of your comments/advice before doing so. I think both stones are great, my only worry is that my fiance has become so visually acute through our education process (looking at too many 8stars I guess!) that she may have issues with either stone because they aren't H&A and may show less distinct facets through the table.

They both look pretty darn good! I'm just going to throw out a couple of other suggestions:

SC 1.82 D SI1 - For the purist with fantastic light return!

GOG 1.71 G VS1 - I think this is GOG's best stone at that 1.7-2 ct range.

Thank you for your advice and comments! I'm reviewing the alternative suggestions now. Will tell you later which ones get ordered for review.
