Hello! I am so thankful for finding this site. I have been lurking around a couple months gaining as much knowledge on diamonds as I can. It has been overwhelming
and frustrating
at times. With that being said I am ready to purchase an engagement ring.
I have a budget of 5000 Canadian for the diamond.
color = nearly colorless GHI
clarity = SI2
carat = .85 to .95
cut = excellent
HCA = excellent
I have narrowed my selection to these three:
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...h-color-si2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-2324232
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...diamond-details/LD07835205?click_id=531650235
I am leaning towards the .85 carat diamond as it is a true hearts diamond fitting the optimal table\depth % and crown\pavilion angles.
I selected the last two diamonds as there are bigger in carats.
I want the diamond to be eye clean and have good brilliance. I realize the blue nile diamond an IS image would not be available.
Without the use of an IS, would you be able to see the difference between a diamond with excellent vs very good light return?
or excellent vs good light return?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
Romeo
