I hate to seem like a dope - but I have no idea how to do that.

Left click and drag - highlighting text with internet "www" address you want.
Right click - choose "Copy" with a left click.
Left click up in "address" window under Internet Explorer browser buttons at top of page
Right click - choose "Paste" with a left click.
Left click on "Go" at right of address bar (or hit Enter on the keyboard).

It sounds a lot harder than it is!

I'll try it tomorrow when my brain is fresh. I assume I can do this w/ AOL?

I really am rather computer illiterate. Someone once said to me that AOL was "Internet w/ training wheels." I'm not ready to ride on my own yet!

EDITED TO ADD: OMG - It *is* easier than it looks. I was able to go to the site! Does it ever become second nature? THANKS! Learn something new every day. You *can* teach an old dog new tricks......more expressions add nauseum.

Fire&Ice:

To copy and paste:

Bring your cursor to the end of the link that you want to copy.

For instance, if you want to copy this line, bring your cursor to where the smiling face is.
1.gif

From there, press and hold onto the left button on your mouse and start retracing the sentence. This is highlighting or selecting what you want to copy. Highlight to the beginning of the link and release the left mouse button.

Move the cursor over the highlighted link and click (once) on the right button of your mouse. This should bring up a menu that should allow you to copy the link. Click on copy.

Now move your cursor into the "Address" field near the top of the web browser. Click once with your right button or highlight the current address in the "Address" field and select the paste option.

Then press return.

This should bring you to the link.

Kush: You might have more success getting replies if you a) insert these as hyperlinks so people can just click on them, and b) narrow down your selection of stones.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm too lazy for this. In order to answer, I'd have to go view the specs on each stone, pull the crown/pav angles from each, and then enter everyone of them on the HCA to get more info. I know how to do it quickly, and it would still take me close to 45 minutes to do this. That's asking a lot of people to do that much research.....hell, I'll be lucky if I do that much for my own stone! If you were to do that research yourself so that you could provide HCA information for each stone above as well, you'd be much more likely to get some feedback.

Also, you'd be more likely to get meaningful input if you narrow down your stones to just 2 or 3. Any more than that just gets overwhelming.

Given the choice between the .80 I/VS2 and the .793 G, SI-1, based just on the information at hand right now, I'd go with the G stone myself as long as it's eyeclean. If I were you, I'd check the HCA score for both stones....as long as they're both under 2.0, I'd choose the .793 G stone.

Good luck.

Kush....

On each stone, look up the crown and pavilion angles (angles are more accurate) . Write them down, together with the depth %, table% and culet info for each stone.

Then go here https://www.pricescope.com/cutadviser.asp

Plug in the numbers for each stone, and it will return a score for each. Generally speaking, scores of 2.0 or less are what you're looking for.

This may help you eliminate a few stones easily, but if not.....you should review the stones, pick the three you think you'd like the most input on, and post those three with ALL the info, including their HCA scores.

I'm fairly certain that you'll find you get a lot more feedback that way! Good luck.
