Hello forum!

I am looking to make a purchase on this diamond for an engagement ring and I would like to get a second opinion before proceeding. I was not able to get the ASET imagery for the diamond, but I do have the Holloway Cut Adviser document. The price of the diamond is $5700 and 0.95ct.
The Holloway reads as follows:

Factor: Grade
Light Return: Excellent
Fire: Excellent
Scintillation: Excellent
Spread: Excellent
Total Visual Performance: 0.8 - Excellent (within TIC range)

Depth %: 60.3
Table %: 57
Crown Angle: 33.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.8
Culet %: 0

Thank you for your help and I look forward to see what you guys think!

Regards,
Prime

What cut, color, clarity is it? Which certificate?

Note that with such a low HCA you might have a diamond that is more appropriate for a pendant than for a ring. You should research some of the implications.

The crown angle is lower than I have seen recommended. (34.3-34.9) So I would be concerned that it might not give the best performance.

$5700 is near the lower end of prices for G-J VS1-SI1 stones. Not suspiciously low, but it warrants a better comparison.

It is a VS1, G color. I will have the GIA cert, hopefully, by tomorrow.
It is a friend of the family, so I am getting close to retail price from what I understand.

Personally for a Tolk style stone, the crown is slightly too low for me. I would prefer a stone with a 34 degree crown angle. But it's not a dog. And for the right price, it's got potential.
