After days of researching eternity bands...SO MUCH great info...I am almost ready. I have decided on a 3-3.25 round with a shared u prong setting in white gold. I want to see as little metal/prong as possible. All of the pictures here have been so helpful. I have narrowed it down to 2 vendors. I can't really find any info on either good or bad. The first is Leons in the Philadelphia diamond district and he is also on EBay. Very helpful. He says his stones are very good quality and eye clean. My only question is the size/pointers of the stones. The second vendor is VIP art jewelry. I found them through amazon. Also very helpful. The band is 3 carats and the stones are 15 pointers. Both vendors say their bands are G-H SII and good quality. Leon assured me he hand picks each stone. I am a size 6.75. If anyone has any experience with either of the vendors I would appreciate it. Luann at ID has also been very helpful and sent me a pic of a beautiful band in my price range, but it is a 2.4 carat band. Any help would be appreciated. Again...a great sight...wouldn't have come this far without it!

I found this thread to be particularly helpful in terms of pics of shared prong eternity bands:

I especially like Amgal's Harry Winston!

Don't know anything about the vendor's you mentioned, but I chose WF in the end to create a 15 pt eternity band for me that will be approximately 3 cts. They use F/G VS ACA stones for their rings and have great customer service.

I would really not use a vendor I didn't have plenty of feedback on to buy an expensive piece of jewelry. The least expensive here usually is ID Jewelry, but others decide to go with top quality ideal cut stones from vendors such as WhiteFlash and Brian Gavin. Any of them can make an eternity ring in many different sizes.

Very exciting! I do not know anything about your 2 vendors, but I do have beautiful rings from both IDJ and BGD - and both can make exactly what you are describing, to the exacting standards of PS members. It may be worth contacting both by phone/email just to get a quote. You could be pleasantly surprised - $$ could be similar and delivery but odds are, its the quality of what you are getting that will blow you away with either of these 2 vendors.

Worth requesting a quote.... Just sayin'! :wink2:
