This is my first post. I''ll be in the market for a diamond within the next year for my girlfriend. I''d like to be very knowledgable when I buy the diamond, so I searched out this site. I''ve already learned a good bit.
I started this thread to ask, is there a resource somewhere, either here or elsewhere, that can show me how to read the different diamond images (front view magnified, ideal-scope, etc.)? For example, what color reds are good, or if you want to have colors... I''m really just starting, so I''m looking for all the help I can get. I know that knowing how to read these images will be very beneficial once I''m comparing actual diamonds I''m thinking about buying.
