I am so lucky to have been able to pounce on this one in the sale...

since obtaining my JM ering - I have followed his work quite closely and could not resist this for my right hand

set with two euros and one cushion diamond - the base of the ring is made from blackened silver - accented with both 18ct and 22ct gold

I'll let the pics do the talking now

WOW - I really like this JM ring - haven't seen many pieces he's done in silver but this, this is something special - and though it has several hallmark JM elements (love the leaf and the assymetrical shoulders), it is quite unique. Frankly, I wish I'd seen it first, but I am happy you have shared it, and wish you continued enjoyment of this treasure.

That is a very cool, one of a kind piece. I like the blackened silver - I've never seen that done before.

I wondered who picked this unusual ring up! His pieces flew off of his site-I had my eye on one that went quickly. Congrats on your JM collection! DId you ever find a wring to go with your ering?

Congratulations! So old and unique looking....yet still so JM. Very nice!

Wow, beautiful ring  would love to see some handshots?!

HI:

Enjoy your ring--I really love it!

cheers--Sharon

It's exquisite! Hand shots please. :)) I love it!!

It's beautiful!

thank you everyone for your lovely comments

brightblue - Jim made our wedding bands here is a snap of all our JMs together

I just need to sort out what I will wear with the wedder and my ering...

the latest idea is a 5 stone - made up with old cuts set in some combo of green gold, wg or yellow gold - but I constantly oscillate from wanting nothing else but the wedder (which in that case it will need to be made even thinner as on it's own it is 0.2mm too wide to my eye!!) and wanting the wedder as is and another diamond band... either a 2mm wide eternity or a 4mm wide 5 stone

my fiancees band had to be resized - so as Jim sent that back with the new ring - it is just me holding things up

blackpaw & coati - hand shots soon I promise.. it is so hard to take photos of your own right hand :errrr:

It's so great you were able to get this at his sale. I looked there, too and loved this one. But I'm a complete Leon-o-holic! I think this looks so lovely with your LHR. Wonderfuls!!!!

That's a really nice ring!! I especially like the little leaf detail.

Great RHR. So different!

 I love everything about this ring!!

How deeply cool! I love the marriage of antique and barbaric styles - the end result is utterly contemporary. Bravo!

What a beautiful ring!
