So I am a long time lurker and just received my newly re-designed engagement ring. I worked with a local jeweler who specializes in custom jewelry. My original ring was 1.14 ct princess cut diamond set in a .35 ct princess cut diamond band. I had wanted it restyled into a halo design but didn't want to lose my original stone. The jeweler was so great to work with and used some of my original diamonds and added new ones as well. I think my favorite part is that he used the year we were married as the filigree on the sides. I am so happy with how it turned out. I am still trying to figure what band to wear it with or to just wear it alone!
I think it would work well as a stand-alone ring!
