Yes, I have many questions these days!

I have been working on a ring project for over a year now. After numerous setbacks I am just on the cusp of purchasing my center stone. Which is great! I think I have my center stone picked out 100% but I am waiting for my work bonus and by the time I get it "my" diamond could very well have sold, which would give me the sads. I mean seriously I might cry ;(

In the case it does sell before I can snap it up, I am considering alternatives. "My" diamond is a rose cut, but in staying consistent with the slightly rustic theme I am considering a raw diamond. I like the raw rose cuts but they have to have a nice pearly sheen, nothing that looks like frozen snot

Where is a GOOD source for nice pearly raw diamonds? Any and all advice is welcome (or feel free to tell me I'm crazy that's ok too)!

I'm not sure what you mean. I have some rough diamonds that I adore, but by definition, rough is unfaceted, uncut. So what does a raw rose cut look like? Would you happen to have any sample pics? I'm sorry if I seem obtuse, I'm just unfamiliar with the term.

I'm likely not using the perfect description. When I say raw rose cut I just mean very basic faceting, a loosely shaped raw diamond or polished. I think I mean rustic.

Ah, okay! That's a rough diamond, straight up - they look like that when they're good quality, no skin. My mom has one set in a pendant. Leibish has a nice selection, and there's one other company that isn't mentioned as much on this board that I actually think has a better selection ... lemme search my email and see if I can find their name.

ETA: Langerman!

Thank you! :appl:
