Rattling diamond in setting

Hi everyone,

Hoping for some advice on what to do long term about my diamond setting which I seem to keep knocking out of place so it rattles in the basket. It's hand forged platinum and has claw prongs. I've had it tightened twice and it keeps slipping out of place. By out of place I mean so I can see that the arrows aren't aligned with prongs spaced evenly (OCD I'm afraid) and if I shake the ring I can hear it rattle.

This is likely completely my fault as I'm quite clumsy so I have dropped it and knocked it off centre by bumping the basket but are claw prongs more prone to this? Or is it a mix of prongs with malleable platinum?

Any suggestions? ;(I'm thinking I might need the basket remade but I would rather not if possible.

If its rattling then its very close to coming out, do not wear it.
The prongs look like they are not overly thin and the setting doesn't appear to be over stretched to fit the stone.
This style of setting may just not be the right one for you.

I was afraid of that! Would white gold be any less prone to movement if knocked?

not enough to matter and possibly more likely to crack.
