As I'm sure most folks on here have done, I'm starting to second guess my purchase.

I recently purchased this diamond from BN https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD08754275 I only now noticed the 'Strong' fluorescent on the grading report, as I've never paid attention to that previously.

I haven't received the diamond yet, it's coming in later in the week and I now have some concerns about how noticeable the fluorescence will be for regular everyday wear. I know there are differing opinions on if it looks good or not, but they key for me is for to not stand out as different to the average viewer. Will strong blue fluorescence definitely be noticeable by a lay person in sunlight?

I picked this diamond because it looked eye clean from the images/360, looked like it has nice arrows, and scored really well on the HCA tool, with a very good price (or so I think).

The two questions I have:
1. Given my concern above, is it even worth waiting for it to come in to look at in person?
2. Can someone help me find an equivalent diamond that's:
1. at least 1.65 carats (or rather just as wide/wide looking as this one?)
2. eye clean
3. Has good HCA score
4. is reasonably priced (prefer under 15.5k, may drop down on color or other if it won't be noticeable).
5. Strong preference for it to be from BN, but will consider other places with equivalent rep/return policies.

Thank you so much for your insights!

On the florescence, it is very personal. In broad terms, very strong on a G or H color can be more apparent in the right lighting situations (high UV). But, a lot of people find is a super-cool effect. I think you need to look at the diamond and make a judgement on its effect.

In the meantime, here are a few options from PS recommended vendors with better upgrade policies than BN. BN requires an upgrade to be 2x value of the first. HighPerformanceDiamonds (HPD) and Whiteflash (WF) give you full flexibility in upgrade. BrianGavin requires you upgrade 2 of 3 -- color, clarity and size. I think they all have a 30-day return policy...but read their websites to be sure. Some of these are up to $16500, but I wanted to give you are range to look at.

Super Ideal
Ideal - JA's upgrade policy is the same as BN
