Randomly found a perfect (to me) transitional cut!

Originally posted in specialty cut grudge match - here she is! I sometimes go to Ritani and search for diamonds with large culets just to see what I can find. I don’t normally have much luck but to my surprise, I found this sweet little transitional cut that just spoke to me! Similar to when I got my warmer stone I just kept coming back to my open tab. The price was OK but then I remembered @DejaWiz using StoneAlgo and I hopped on over and found the same stone being sold by Daniel William Diamonds for less than half of Ritani’s asking price! I don’t know much about these cuts other than I’ve always preferred the checkerboard pattern over the prominent petals. Soooo if it’s not a great stone and isn’t perfect let me live my best life LOL because I adore it

I couldn’t get great photos or videos - it was horribly cloudy and then turned bright bright bright and sunny! These videos and pictures are the best I have at the moment, more to come!

Thank you! You’re the absolute best I do think the crystal is very nice and clear for CVD! I have exactly 200 billion ideas and need to narrow it down. The first CAD DK sent me was a little too big for my short fingers so back to the drawing board!

When you hop onto the Ritani site and navigate to their lab diamonds there is a filter at the bottom right of the screen. From there you can go straight to advanced filter options and scroll down to the bottom and choose the curly size you’d like to filter by I’ll attach some screenshots.

As far as the proportions, angles, tables and all that jazz…I don’t know what to look for like some of the experts on here!

Right now everyone is happy and healthy, J found an amazing new job that he starts in less than a week! I truly couldn’t ask for more right now (maybe a week off so I can decompress and regulate my nervous system!) in terms of my kiddos and husband getting some major wins! My mom just got out of the hospital and a rehab facility yesterday. 32 long days with a case of Covid that almost killed her. She fell again and broke her hip. Two terrible falls in 3 months. I scarcely know if I am coming or going!

I haven’t gone too far down these ring paths *yet* but I really like these two. I’m looking to do a RHR so I would need to make an adjustment to the one with the halo - my fear is that it looks too much like an engagement ring. The one I originally asked DK to CAD ended up being around 17.5 mm long and I have very short fingers.
