I'm sorry for your loss @Arcadian. I lost my estranged sister around this time last year. It was emotional and stressful. She didn't want us to see her, yet we had to do everything to settle her affairs. It's weird losing siblings. Lots of feelings you don't expect come up.

I appreciate this so much Daisy, thank you for thinking of me and your good wishes.

I applied to and am hoping to hear back from the local school district but I did secure a little cleaning job at night so either way I’ll at least be bringing some money in soon. Either way I’m just glad to be out of retail :)

it looks fine to me? Seriously its fine and you're so sweet.

These days I'm dealing with an angry mother who says she's not angry, but everything that comes out is angry AF. My siblings are avoiding her (for some obvious reasons) My mom is upset about the no memorial service that my brother requested. My dad....isn't saying much so there you go.

I haven't spoken to my SIL, I'm giving her space to navigate all this (not easy) I will call her next week.

And its only been 7 days.

My husband is supporting me as best he can (as are the puppies) + had my first therapy session. I do what I can to keep in touch with siblings (I group text every couple of days).

Grief isn't linear its affecting all of us differently.

I can't believe it got there so fast either. I sent you the tracking number, but I bet that email got lost in your spam folder. Did you find the earrings, too?
