They’re all so precious! I love how Pinky uses Noodles for a pillow. And Cricket’s eyes are beautiful!

Gorgeous boys! You're so lucky to get to have horses in your life. I would love that.

Oh thank you! I waited a long time. The sorrel quarter horse to the left I bought with my first teacher paycheck. I was always told horses were too expensive, and I could not have one as a girl. When I was finally married and independent it was the first thing I did. He’s been the love of my life (next to DH of course!) and I learned everything from him. Now my three young daughters take turns riding him, and he’s so proud to be trusted to carry them. I’ve owned him 17 years! My pinto to the right is a most special gift. A rescue purchased (for Christmas 2016 from DH) from my trainer and has taken close to four years to train is something wonderful in my life. They are definitely worth the trouble and maybe...cheaper than therapy or bling but oh how they make me happy!

Ive been doing laundry all day
Tibby had an upset tummy and spewed in 3 bedrooms on friday night
Its weird like he doesn't want to go back to the bed he spewed on even though i cleaned up straight away and put clean covers on.
Yesterday he had a quiet day not getting up - from the 4th bedroom till after lunch
he has learnt what the dirt box is for so i just left him alone and then only feed him cat biscuits yesterday
I think the end of the cat roll i gave him on friday night had been out of the fridge on the kitchen bench too long :(2
Last night he slept on the bathmat in the bathroom not wanting to sleep on any bed

They sound so completely, utterly worth it!

I have this fantasy...... It's not safe for me to ride - osteoporosis and some other medical stuff - so I would love to adopt one of the thoroughbreds or standardbreds retired from racing that has had an injury that means that they cannot ever be ridden. (I know they sometimes are adopted as a stablemate for a horse that is ridden, but other than that, can have a very hard time finding a home.) He/she and I would be perfect companions in our mutual "brokenness," and we could go on long, long walks together on lead in pastures and meadows and on trails along with my dog. *sigh*

He sleeps like this too, so now I can’t recycle the box.
