It’s two years today since I rescued this guy. I think he is the only reason I survived during this time. I’m so grateful to have him.

The stray/ wild tom, mommy cat came half inside last night for a big stretch while he was waiting for me to put his dinner down
He also got Gary's rejected steak (it wasn't very good steak ) but Mommy loved it
I hope he likes living on the back porch/ laundry better than behind the old garden shed

My DH took this a few minutes ago. First thing in the morning it's "Cuddle with Mom!!!" This is 130lb of setters you're looking at here - and we're all on a kingsize bed. Why - WHY - do they both need to be on my side, WHEN I'm in it?? My Irish Red and White Setter, Ballin (said like Alan) is ON my leg. Cirrus, my English setter is literally UNDER my arm/shoulder/side. Thanks guys - sooooo convenient!

Ok sorry no pictures but something really excitting happened
The stray wild tom Mommy cat came right inside and waited by the fridge for his tea (dinner) tonight
i should have taken a picture because he looked good - clear eyes and nose,
fur looked soft and groomed (he is long haired)
i rewarded him with a tin of friskies for tea follower up by some temptations cat lollies
I patted him 5 times but very gently - the first two times he didn't notice- but he doesn't like it but i hope he's learning (ever so slowly) i won't hurt him

Winter is coming - last night it got down to 4 degrees - i just want him to have a nicer life (and be nurtured)

This is not our cat but this beauty is at a local cat shelter that our teenage son volunteers at. His name is Bill, he came in with a female companion named Hillary, sadly Hillary was adopted without Bill and he has been at the shelter a long time.

He is the biggest love, jumped up on my lap and purred the whole time! God, I just love him but we can’t have another kitty

Yesterday on the way to work i passed the only friendly dog in Wanganui - my mate Ruby - she is a jack Russel or maybe a foxy - anyway for Christmas she got a ginger brother - Pumpkin the cat
Pumpkin now races up to the gate and climbs over for a cuddle when i walk past
Yesterday he then went two house's up where he has a little black and white friend
They look the same size - pwrhaps they are from the same litter ?
Anyway they did that cat kiss thing toughing noses
it was soooooooooo cute

I wish Borris would let Fluffa Duffa give her a kiss but the only thing she says to Fluffy is hisssssssss usually followed up by a swipe
