Someone makes himself WAY too comfortable on our bed. He often jumps up to take our spot when one of us gets up to use the toilet...and pretend to be fast asleep within 2 minutes! Fake sleeping.....

What kind of dog is he? I think he is so cute!

We lost our big fluffy boy over the rainbow bridge in the sky at the beginning of the year. It was traumatic and we aren’t over it.
He is the sleeping beauty. A couple of weeks ago this guy has come into our lives to try and ease the pain.

@oakleaf79 We have no idea. I have wanted to get him DNA tested, but Dh doesn't want to know because he thinks his pup is the most perfect multi-mutt, and he doesn't care what breed he is. He loves to sleep and he loves eating veggies!

Its November 6th here
we have had fireworks most of the week here
im so sick and tired and frustrated at hearing all the neighborhood dogs getting upset over it
When so many families have cats and dogs why don't they consider the upset stuoid fireworks are doing to their furry family member
Borris came in and had tea and then went out again before i thought about it with yesterday being a wet night and a friday night tonight
lucky it was raining and i fiund her on the front door mat
Tibby had an early tea at 3pm - i wish he was home but fireworks don't seem to bother him so much - but its the noise i think that scares them

last night i felt sorry for the stray kittens as this is their first fireworks so i gave them an extra fill of their plates and they seemed happy enough

What is the occasion for setting off fireworks?

Some guy from so long ago NZ hadn't even been discovered, desided to blow up British parliment
personally i like parliment so i find celebrating someone trying to blow it up stupid
it has zero relevance to NZ, it just upsets everyone's cats, dogs and horses
Wellington zoo was pleading with people who lived near the zoo not to let fireworks off as a couple of years ago a mother primate had a baby and it died - i think the mum was so panicked she suffocated the baby

I love that he sleeps with pure abandonment .... not a cafe in the world. So envious .

So we have the 4 kittens from under the house and the grumpy tom who was abandoned and now we have had a grey freeloader turn up
she has become superfreindly - short haired grey and a teenage pregnancy
Going to take her to the SPCA first, this week

the ginger boy has gotten really freindly, im thinking to hold off taking him a bit longer so his sisters learn to be freindly from him
He doesn't like to be picked up but he now likes lots of pats and he purs like crazy
He has such good manners letting his sisters eat first and him and Tibby are freinds
They all try to be freinds with Borris but she isnt intetested
The abandoned neglected tom needs some work - he growls at Tibby then runs under the house- Tibby doesn't really care as he's the bigger boy

Naming is SO hard! If he’s a really cuddly boy Valentino is very cute, so is Sid...

Tibby made it himself
Back last year when Tibby realized he had found a family to provide regulars meals he took to sleeping on the clothes horse
it was being used at the time to dry some things flat
two heavy quilted sewing machine bags my freind had given me
they smelt musty so i washed them and laid them out to dry and air out

The clothes horse also used to be flat but Tibby has made it more comfortable so it sags now

Here he is cuddled up to one of the stray kittens we are trying to get freindly so we can take them to the spca for rehomming

Borris is sleeping on my hoodie like a kangaroo (almost)
She was asleep on my shoulder but woke up as i tried to take the photo

Just had a successful trip to the SPCA
we took Freeloader in
they said she was underweight and probably not pregnant
She was such s good girl in the cage on the way in the car
i put some temptations in the cage and sprayed that feliiaway spray on the towel which as never worked on Borris
she usually visits us for breakfast and dinner the last 3 weeks and this morning Gary had a hospital appointment so an SPCA trip wasn't on the cards, but then she turned up at lunchtime (hungry)

She wasn't friendly with Borris and was hot and cold with the other strays but she was freindly
