Hi There,
I've been to Baily's at Cameron Village & had a very pleasant experience with them. I think the saleswomans name is Amy. I found them running the same retail pricing as all the other stores in the area & in the malls. My fiance ended up buying online with diamondbrokersofflorida.com. Bailys carries Vatche, & Verragio settings as well. I believe I saw Jeff Cooper as well. There's Edwards jewelery on Kildaire Farms Road. Again, they are retail & the pricing reflects that. I found them pleasant as well & they carry some lovely jewelery.
I dont know what it is that you're searching for, but I would recommend you look online.
I have a big group that buy from me in Raleigh (John Deere branch) The John Deere Home office is in our town. Since I sell to 90% of Jonh Deere employees here in town. I also get referrals from branches like Raleigh. If there is something I cant find for them I send them to SteveL in SC. I know he will take care of them.
Seriously though, if Steve is close to you or within a few hrs drive, then I'd go. I didnt know who Steve was last year. haha I once drove from Durham, NC to Tysons Corner, VA to get a wicked deal on my Gucci watch. I was bored, the car took $20 to fill up & so off I went. haha I'm a bit spontaneous sometimes.
yes, kay jewelers in the triangle town center mall is excellent. they have a large variety from clarity i2 to a vvs. they can also custom make jewerly. check them out
Kay Jewlers? As in the mall chain stores? It might be fun to look at what they have, but why buy there when you can get a much better diamond online? From what I've read, they are one of the worst diamond sellers. Look around this site for reputable dealers (niceice., etc.).
We have a GIA certified gemologist here in Charlotte by the name of Sharon Bennett. She can make your ring to spec or appraise one you purchase. Great lady. She recently appraised my ring which I purchased online. Let me know if you would like me to PM her phone number.
Kays in town center are a joke. They told me that inclusions are visible in a VS2 Diamonds. Try Bailey, Banks & Biddle at Cary but they are pretty pricey. It is good place to look at a selection of good quality diamonds. The 'I1's in Kays at Town Center were terrible, the girl behind the counter looked like she was chewing gum waiting and was not unhelpful.
