I''ve noticed that some diamonds tend to give off more rainbow colored sparkles while others have more white/blueish flashes of light. I''ve been trying to figure out what factor is behind the difference.
I''m sure the environment/light conditions have some effect, but was wondering if there is something about the stone itself that would cause different light reflections? After reading some stuff on here, I think it has something to do w/ the table, but I couldn''t make out what differences create which colored flashes.
I personally prefer when a stone flashes white/blue rather than colored light. Does this mean I should look for one w/ a slightly larger or smaller table depth? Will that actually guarantee that a stone will have more white rather than colored reflections? Or does it depend on a lot of different factors?
