The funny thing is , when I first saw this stone come tumbling out of its little white piece of paper, and I held it in my hand, I thought it looked so tiny, but once we had it set , I nearly fell over.

That is a BBR - Big, Beautiful Ring! I love it. I would love to see more close-up shots, to get a better idea of the beauty of the stone ... does your camera have a macro function? It looks like a little tulip on most cameras ....

oh the mud encrusted garden gloves will fit alright , but my husband would have me arrested! He patrols me on weekends when I plant bulbs for sping, and rake leaves.

here''s the crushed ice radiant thing going on with garden floxgloves, but that''s just one look of this stone- it goes translucent in other lights and fires off rainbows at twilight, and direct sun... it constantly shifts and does something new.

here it goes translucent with indoor lighting.. I wish I had the skill to capture the fire and rainbows. The stone is a trick a minute and always surprises me.

Glad you like it. I''ve been looking for either a princess or radiant to set in this style for ages. I adore princess cut, but if anyone could chip the edge that would be me. I went with the small scale side stones hoping it would be a lighter look but still balanced. I''ve seen rings set with larger scale half moons, or trillants and they are totally gorgeous, but for my small ring size I wanted to keep it light and airy. The center stone is 3 carats, its an F, Si2, with the side stones total weight is 3.5 or thereabouts .

My original ring is a 1.7 J/VS 2, so this is a big upgrade for me. I wish I knew about this site before I had the radiant set to get some opinions on the scale of the side stone however, all the halos I see here have given me inspiration for a new project way way down to line to reset the 1.7 in one of these lovely halos. The diamond fever never ends.
