Hi All,
Can you help me assess if this diamond has a bow tie? The video I saw ahead of in person viewing did not show any evidence of a bow tie.
The tricky piece here is I had to view the diamond in non standard conditions- this is a highly reputable supplier and for unique circumstances needed to view in a conference room. The conference room was very dark (dark outside) with round dim lights, not even standard overhead office lights. We were using our phone lights to try to get a better look, and had the diamond in tweezers. Not ideal for viewing at all but no other option. Could also be shadows of the tweezer, three people leaning over with camera phone lights to try to get a better look, etc. when I moved it in different positions around the room I still saw it and haven’t had that problem before, but these circumstances were different environment.
It is a D VVS1 graded. Any thoughts here would be very helpful.
