Hi,

I was just wondering if anybody could tell me if the following is considered a good diamond/cut? It's for an engagement ring.

E:colour VS1:clarity 0.9:Carat Excellent:polish Good:symmetry 1.3:l/w 73%:table 73.1%:depth 6.41 x 4.91 x 3.59 GIA Nil:fluorescents Thin to medium:girdle

Thanks very much,
Mark

Numbers are not very useful for fancy shapes, especially rectangular radiants. The "good" symmetry gives me pause, and I'd suspect this stone may have a sizable bowtie in the center.

Where is this stone from? Have you seen it in person? Any chance you could get an ASET image of this stone?

Can't judge a fancy by the numbers - need light performance images (Idealscope, ASET). Any pics of it?
