i got quoted by a chubb agent for $500.00 per year for a $11,400 ring...does that sound right???

I live in bridgeport, CT...seems a bit high no?

Wow, that is high!!! I went with my State Farm w/a seperate rider on my ring insuring it for $15,000 which cost $140 a year. Hope that helps.

ummm yea. i pay $200 a year for $15,000 through chubb and I live in the DC area, where cost of living is not cheap.

I still think $500 sounds like a lot to insure $11,400 ring.

I always heard that is you own a house add a jewelry rider and it should be cheaper. I lost my ring and they cash out to me for what it was insured for.
