Quick update from me (in case you were noticing)

That's a CVB setting...you can message her on IG I believe.

We dont usually (probably never) get the actual CAD files. We get images of the design from the tool. Not sure what you're
asking for...if you just want a picture or the actual CAD files? She did post a CAD picture on that thread on post #30
I believe. If you click on it a bigger version will show up.

@geo69
I can’t speak for all / any jewelers - but not sure how many would just go off another jeweler designers cad? They’d probably make their own, especially if they needed it in their own program? Idk?

setting aside the good manners in asking the owner of the ring, there’s also asking the designer jeweler themselves that made the cad, I think, when the question arises of using that specifically.

We all may vary on that to some degree or another.

the thread you’ve linked has links to the original antique ring at victor barbone.
I think the easiest and quickest if using your jeweler is to give your jeweler images of that antique ring - and go from there to see what they create with your input of changes you speak of.

easier and quicker ( even if OP doesn’t answer) is to go to one of the three designers that have made their own versions of the antique ring (I’m sure theres more to be found, if searched) , and speak to one of them about your own changes you’d like to see

You can also just email the pics of one or more "inspiration rings" like the one mentioned, along with a description of the changes you want made to it, to whatever designer you pick. They can handle it from there and send you a price quote and a CAD of your vision. No CAD pic or file is necessary. :)

Oh I had no idea.
Thanks for the information everyone, I've never had a ring designed or created custom like this before so I am very much out of my element. I originally thought if I had the CAD files I could modify them a bit and 3d print a prototype and have it sent to a jeweler to have them clean it up.

I will attempt to contact the designers and see if I can get a quote.
Again thank you for the advice! Hopefully I can make a progress post soon!
