We are having our ceremony and reception at one location. I''m meeting with the coordinator again tonight and I want to ask all the important questions so that I can keep moving with the planning. For anyone who has has their wedding all in one place, is there anything specific you can suggest for me to ask? Anything anyone wished they had asked before the big day? I have my specific questions laid out, but anything generic or specific to ask would be great; any input is appreciated.

it depends on where you plan to have your wedding.

without knowing all the details, I would think it''s important to ask about bathrooms. I have been to a few weddings were you had to use porta potties since guest weren''t allowed into the main structure were off limits to the wedding guest I was attending.

Is there a place fore vendors to store their gear safely?

Is their enough power to power the speakers, lights, etc? Where are the outlets?

What would the layout be for the ceremony and receception? Are they allowing enough space for the musicians/dj?

Make sure you find out what the venue provides in terms of tables/chairs, linens, votives, etc. I didn''t know to ask (about anything except the tables & chairs) until I started going to florists who wanted to know these things.

Also, depending on the space, is there setup involved in the ceremony location to transition it to the reception location? If so, where do your guests go during this setup time?

Is it outside or inside? You may need to find out about tents or umbrellas outside. Or if it''s upstairs or downstairs, is there an elevator for older guests?
Are you bringing in a caterer? You may find out the policy on alcohol, etc.

Hard to know what to tell you to ask without knowing what kind of space it is (restaurant, garden, catering hall, library, museum, etc.)...

Thanks ladies, some great suggestions. I appreciate it.
