Hello! Glad I found this terrific resource. My first post, so hopefully I''m in the right forum. Please advise if not :)

I would like to get my wife a circle diamond pendant but confused by the broad range of pricing for pretty similar items and looking for some guidance on how to best compare "apples to apples" so to speak. Giving the popular of this item, hopefully this post will help other christmas shoppers as well!

I''ll start with my budget, which is around $300-$500 so I do realize that this is a limiting factor. I''d also like to stick with white gold for both the setting and the chain.

Given the small size of the diamonds on these pendants, how important is color and clarity. I''d like to stick with G-J category on color and I see many choices in the H-J range. In terms of clarity, how important to stick with SI2-I1 vs. I1-I2?

Lastly, any recommondations on where to purchase to ensure that I''m getting what I''m paying for would help. Any specific thoughts of buying at Macy''s?

As a practical example, which of these two would you go for?

And, one more opinion on this version of the circle pendant with blue diamonds which has a nice unique look...

Your advice is much appreciated!

Welcome to pricescope JJT

Circle pendants are available in every conceivable quality. Your budget is limited so you might have to compromise on color or clarity. Maybe stick to a smaller circle with better quality diamonds.
Good luck with your search.
