Hello, I am going to get married in Jan.2nd :) I still have about 8-9 month till the wedding day and I am planning to save up money for the wedding band!
So this is my question, I will roughly have $2000-2400 by then and I want to get recommendations from you guys:) I know that this is not a lot of money so I will probably have limited choice but since I am still student, I am trying my best. The budget up there is for 2 rings, for me and for my fiancée. Help me out please ! I have looked Cartier (love band ring), Chopard (ice cube.. but don't have retailers in Dallas), Tiffany and Co. Please recommend me more rings :)
Thank you and have a nice day!!

To suggest more rings, it would be useful if you could tell us what styles you like, what your engagement ring is like (pictures are always good), what you like about the examples you've suggested already? They're quite different styles but I might hazard a guess that you like that they're recognisably from a luxury brand? I'd not seen the Chopard one before but it's lovely and really interesting!

I liked the ones that I looked was because they are well known brand so me and my fiancée can go to the shop to try it on. (Free cleaning, AS is more convenient, too.. my fiancée is terrified to send her ring to get free cleaning service from Whiteflash :( ) I would like to get more recommendations so that me and my fiancée can go try it on. With the limited budget, I know that there are not many choices to choose from though She likes the yellow gold band because that is what her parents first got, so I think we will stick to the yellow gold. She does not like too slim style band. I am going with whatever style she wants to so..(she is da Queen ) yellow gold, not too slim band will be our preference :). Thank you so much again!

Don’t choose your wedding band based off free cleanings - most people clean their own rings daily or weekly at home using hot soapy water and a toothbrush. $2-2400 is not a limited budget. Do you know if she wants diamonds in the band? A full or partial eternity if she wants diamonds?
Luckily she has a classic style ER so it’ll pair well with lots of styles. I’d suggest going to some stores, like Tiffany or whatever is closest and trying on all the rings she likes the look of. Go from there.

She does not want diamonds in the band. She said she wants plain band, but not too slim looking band. Her e-ring's width is only 1.2mm so she told me it has to be thicker than that for sure. Right now we cannot go anywhere due to COVID-19 :( therefore I am trying to gather infos about the rings that I can choose from :) Thank you for your replies

2-2400 is a wonderful budget for a band. I am sure you will find something she loves. When I got married the first time I had a plain plat band for traveling with no diamonds (super inexpensive) and we also purchased a pave diamond eternity band to match my ER. You could do something like that. Two rings with that budget. Just an idea.

I second @foxinsox's observation. I bought my Magnasonic off Amazon, and I clean my own rings in there. It's just so much safer and easy. If your fiancee would like a plain gold band (no diamonds), your budget is more than enough!

I went to Tiffany & Co. to try different bands, and ultimately decided on a plain gold one too. It's best that she try different bands with her engagement ring, because she might want the heights of the bands to "match."

You can’t go wrong with 2 classic bands from Tiffany! And you’ll still probably have money left over.

Tiffany sells a 3mm platinum band for her and maybe a 4 mm band for you. They will also engrave the inside of the bands. That would be my choice. Their bands are so well designed and comfortable.

First of all, thank you for your reply.
I think that is a good idea too, thank you for your suggestion! I will look into pave diamond band and plain band as an option :)
Have a nice day!

I will check Magnasonic :) thank you for letting me know.

I should definitely check Tiffany & Co since everyone is recommending :) She still have not decided yet whether she wants to layer her e-ring with other ring. Therefore, we are trying to find as many options as possible so that after when we can all go out, we have more options to choose from.
Again, thank you for your reply and I hope you have a nice day :)

Yes, when I checked it, I would probably have some money left if I choose the gold band :)
If it is Plat... maybe not haha. It is so difficult to choose wedding band lol. I will definitely check Tiffany since I love Tiffany too.
Thank you for your reply and I hope you have a nice day :)

I love Tiffany's ring too :) Our couple ring is Tiffany's 1837 ring. (Mine is black, My fiancee's ring is rubedeo color) I always wanted to try their platinum, gold ring haha. I will definitely check their lines.
Thank you for your reply and have a nice day :)

You’re welcome

One of the nice things about Tiffany bands is that they hold their value pretty well. So if you decided to sell it used later and get something fancier/more expensive you would come out OK.

Just be sure to save all the paperwork and packaging and of course the iconic blue box!

Have a nice day too!

Oh well, well, well if you are talking Tiffany I love the Embrace. That’s probably my fav. I also like their channel set wedding band. Tiffany’s is the only one I like and many vendors have copied that style. I notice their metal less between the diamonds. It’s their classic Wedding Band Line and the Soleste has different price points as does the Metro line. I’ve also always like the clean lines of their etoile line. As you can see so many options and all within range except embrace. Happy shopping!

I have had a few of their bands through the years. Even in a plain band, I admire the workmanship and the comfort. You may not choose them but you owe it to yourself to try them out when the open again.

The only thing that I am concerned about is the scratch. Me and my fiancee used to wear couple ring

from Tiffany and her ring, which was rubedo color, that one has bunch of scratches. That is why I am

looking at other brands like Cartier, , Gucci, and etc. For example, Cartier's love band, 1895 wedding

band, Van cleef's Toujours wedding band, 4 mm, Gucci's Icon thin band.

Thank you for your reply :)

Yessss, I love Tiffany's line, but just so worried about the scratches. My fiancee loves tiffany's jewelry (She has several earrings, bracelet, ring). Also one of the concerns is that since she has so many pieces (in my opinion) I feel like it's time for her to get other brand's jewelry. I still have not decided whether I should stick to the tiffany's wedding band or others since me and her already have tiffany's 1837 rings as couple ring :).
Thank you for your opinion and reply :)

I will definitely check Tiffany's bands :) I hope me and my fiancee can agree with the same one haha. Thank you so much :)

If you don’t want diamonds in the bands and want to save money than checkout e-weddingbands.com. My platinum band comes from them. Can’t see spending all that money at Tiffany’s, unless you must have the name.
