YW... and FTR, I wasn''t meaning you should change the writing (I think it''s cute and if it''s you it''s nice to stay you), but I would suggest the glare being taken out so you see him better.
Oh, I think these are so cute--and you''ll be sending them to people who love you and will love to see your personalities shine through. I like the hand written signs, too, and the kiss is adorable, and each frame is a natural progression to the next--very creative.
And Doodle--yes, that''s what flashed through my mind when I first saw another thread saying, What should I do about STD''s?, and I thought, well, generally I thought it was a good idea to avoid them! (no one in my time, geographical region or class level, or whatever, sent them out, this forum was the first I''d heard of them)
hey girls! have some messing around in photoshop, this is what i''ve come up with.
we ended up changing the text and adding a little more info. opinions?
Wow, mimzy! They were super cute before, but now they are just adorable! I think you got it perfect, though I did like the handwriting on the initial one, too!
do you think that this font is more like handwriting? i feel like a fraud trying to make it look like handwriting when it isn''t, but i would rather take this route rather than a typewriter type font.
I''m not sure I like what you did. Sorry. (Wow, I sort of feel like Simon Cowell right now...d''OH)
I think sera was spot on about the glare and we can still see Stefan''s glare on his glasses. The example that sera showed you when she got rid of the glare in the top left picture went a long way in helping refine the photo.
I like the orignal writing, but also like the "fraudulent script" font you used in the first example over the second one. I love the fraud quote. Too funny. That isn''t fraud, that is resourcefulness.
What I don''t like is the text on the top line or the bottom line. I don''t think you need to tell them that the invitation is to follow, but I might be wrong here. I just assumed that people don''t send a STD to people that they don''t expect to invite to the wedding. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that was the point of a STD. Other than vendors of course, which I think should receive a STD (you don''t want them to forget), only those you are inviting get one, yes?
So in my humble opinion, and it''s only my opinion, all that is needed is the website line, and I think you could do better, fontwise, than what you have now.
Otherwise, I still love these STD''s.. I think they are like a "webshot" and capture your playfulness and realness.
thanks for your opinion miraclesrule! i appreciate it.
you''re right about the glare - i couldn''t get it as well as sera did, so i''m leaving that to the pro when he gets a chance. i''m not super attached to the top line (although FI might be...he really likes that font) - i just thought i''d put it on there because every STD i''ve seen has that on it, but you''re right, it''s probably not necessary. i chose the font on the bottom because our venue is a 1920s masonic temple and the whole event is really going to have that sort of vibe to it,including the invitations and i thought that sort of went with it...but no one is going to remember the font on that line when they get the invite and be like "whoa! that''s sort of the same!" haha, so maybe i''ll look into changing it. thanks again!
