I am looking for an antique style cushion and am having no luck finding one within my specifications. Most are too big, a few are too small, some are great in every way, but the wrong colour/clarity. If I were to get Sarin info on a stone that was everything I wanted in terms of size, proportion, and cut, would an experienced cutter be able to replicate that cut, and if so, what is the likelihood of getting great results with this approach? Also, would the example stone need to be the same size as what I wanted the final stone to be? I was told that it would be about 20% more to have a stone custom cut - which is almost worth it to me considering how much time I've spent searching for my stone. Thanks in advance for any info/wisdom you can provide.
