I know everybody has put messages out there about how to do it.
But I can''t seem to get it working.
The file I saved is from my digital, and has the extension JPEG.
But, still it will not upload after clicking on attach file.
Is it because i haven''t reduced it to 50%
I tried to find the option to reduce it to 50% in the picture program,
and i don''t see one.

any ideas?

Im trying to load my Tacori ring to ask if you think the prongs should
be thinned alittle, it''s appearing alittle bulky.

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn.

First, make sure the file is <100k.

Second, give it a unique name. There are hundreds of photos on PS so keep it different than others here. For example, "ring.jpg" may have trouble loading

Third, I load pix from my PC and my mac. Sometimes on mac you need to change all the letters (including .jpg) to lowercase.

Finally, I find that .jpg is more successful than .jpeg

Hope one of these works for you.

Do you think the prongs need to be alittle thinner, the jeweler that set my stone
said it would look better, and i kind of agree.

Carolyn,

Personally, I agree 100%. Take a look at the wide array of photos in the "Show Me The Ring" forum and compare prong sizes.

Thanks John.
Is it easy to make it happen, i mean make the prongs appear not so bulky.
The jeweler is an excellent jeweler, just wondering if it is hard in your opinion.

Is the ring platinum?

If it is gold, the prongs in time may wear a little...

Platinum is far stronger so a good setting can "rubber wheel them down. Although you might want to mention this to Tacori because they probably guarantee their setting work, so make sure that someone else "tampering" with it won''t void any ring guarantee you might be entitled to.

It may be advantageous to ship it to them to do.

My jeweler said it won''t take away any warranty with Tacori.
They indicated that they can do it easily, and I pretty much trust this jeweler.
He has been there for 27 years, and really does great work.
If he messes it up, I guess, it will have to go to Tacori, but they
will take care of it.
I trust them, thank goodness.

Yes, the ring is platinum.
