Im looking at a 2.07K stone with these measurements.
8.22 - 8.26 x 5.06
Table: 56%
Depth:61.5%
Crown: 34.8
Pavilion: 40.9
Here is the results from HCA:
Light Return: Excellent
Fire: Very Good
Scintillation:Very Good
Spread or diameter for weight: Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.7 - Excellent
within TIC range
For curiousity, I was playing around with the numbers. And if the Pavilion was 40.8 instead of 40.9. The result would have been:
Light Return: Excellent
Fire: Excellent
Scintillation: Excellent
Spread or diameter for weight: Very Good
Total Visual Performance 1.4 - Excellent
within TIC range
The tenth of a degree lower made fire and scintilation go from very goods to excellents. Should I disregard this stone for comming up short of excellents? Will there be a visible difference between very goods and excellents? Or you think it shouln''t matter because the very goods are still within TIC range? Thoughts please.
