Does anyone have an opinion on this 1.40 ct round brilliant? And has anyone ever worked w/Union Diamond?

I was asking about them last night and today. I got a handful of replies that all said they were very happy to work with them.

A bit small in the pavilion angles for that crown height. Might be slightly dark when view in close proximity due to head obstruction issue. SI2 you will have to ask them about eye-clean issue.

Stone, Atroop, thanks! Stone, even though it scored a 0.8 on the HCA, you still think the pavillion angles are too small?

The angles are absolutely fine, no need to worry about any darkness when viewed closely, the angles look good and it should be a nice looking diamond. Check it is eyeclean to your standards by asking the vendor.

Yes, HCA is only to eliminate bad performers, score >2, not use to choose which is best by going for lower score. Probably not be an issue but LGF is on the smaller side so the the pav facets are larger.
