Has anyone used this company and are they respectable and good priced for what you get? I want to get 2.5 round carat diamond that is I in color and SI2 in clarity for about 13,000. Does that sound about right?

I haven't used them personally, but I know several posters who have used them with excellent results.

They are quite reputable....no worries.

Many of the PSers, including myself, would not sacrifice on cut. Tried to look up your stone on DCD but it's not listed in their "signature series ideal cut diamonds". For a 2.5 ct, even RB, an SI2 will have inclusions that are likely to be visible to the naked eye unless they're near the girdle and can be covered by a prong or setting design.

Ask for inclusion pix and ideal scope images.

I was delighted with the tiny, pretty stone they sold me. They were very sweet and responsive, even though I wasn't spending very much at all.

I've had very good experience with them. I've purchased several of their signature ideal stones, and they are beautiful. Jim Schutlz was good to deal with. There seem to have been several recent people posting about good experiences, so do a search to see what the feedback is.

I used DCD for small stones in a band. They helped me. I would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are great.

I also used DCD and purchased 2 of their Signature Ideal Series diamonds for earrings. They were wonderful to work with, I would highly recommend them to anyone.
