Hi Ladies,
I was just wondering if either of you know the measurement of your wrist? I know in a previous post, Jcrow stated that she had a tiny wrist and had hoped that the bangle was a tiny bit smaller b/c it can come on and off without opening it. When I measure the point on my wrist where I would want it to sit, I get approximately 6.25". I am discussing the possibility of having a smaller version of the bangle made to fit me with WF, but am not sure exactly how small to get it.

Thanks

I have got my eye on the bangle too... it is so beautiful! Do you ladies who have it still enjoy it as much as when you first got it? How is it holding up? Does it clang against your computer keyboards? (I realize that I rarely wear bracelets now for that reason!)

I had the good fortune to wear Mara''s for a few hours when we met up, and it was spectacular! I''ve been jonesing for one ever since for myself! LOL

I do find, though, that I tend to wear bracelets on the same wrist as my watch because they get in the way on my "writing hand" wrist.

I just noticed too that btrflygrl23 has the wf bangle, so... if your out there btrflygrl23, feel free to chime in!

Thanks

my wrist is loosely 6" all the way around. 2" per large side. ha that sounds funny.
dh said that my bangle is the smallest they made.

eta: i had written that maybe you should discuss with wf the sizing but i edited because i realized you mentioned working with wf on the sizing. whoops.

Jcrow, when you say 6" all around, are you talking about right at the thinnest part of the wrist, or down further where the bangle sits in the picture in your wedding thread?

At the thinnest part, my wrist is somewhere between 4-4.5", but I would want the bangle to fall lower. That is where I measure the 6.25".

Thanks

tell me how far away you are measuring from the start of your wrist. i''ll measure mine the same distance for you.

Ok, I am measuring an inch down from the bone on the outer edge of my wrist when I get 6.25".

ok, 1 inch from my bone going towards my elbow, i measure a tad over 5.5"

I have the Whiteflash bangle in the 3 carat version. My wrists are fairly small but I got the normal size and although it is a bit loose it does not come off unless I open it. I am happy with the standard size. You will love this bangle, it never fails to get compliments!!!

Edited to add: my wrist measures 5.5" at the smallest point so it is a little larger than yours.

Jcrow: I guess I should have been more specific... I measured 1 inch from the bone, going away from the elbow. I was trying to measure the width of the area where the bangle would sit with my arm down by my side. Does that make any sense? I hope so, but I don''t think I am explaining it well. Thank you for all of your help.

Sundial: If your wrist measures 5.5" (approximately 1" bigger than mine), do you think I should cut the size of the bangle down by an inch as well. The bangle is 7.5" the regular way that it comes, but I could possibly have one made that is 6.5".

Thanks a bunch!!!

Wow this is tricky as these measurements seem a little bit arbitrary. I think I would talk to Whiteflash about it.

Well, I have been speaking with Bob from WF about the bangle. He told me to measure at the point where the joint for the thumb begins. That for me is the 6.25" figure that I have been mentioning, if I am measuring in the right place. I will speak to him tomorrow again to be sure. I was just trying to see how the bangle fit other PS members who have purchased it and then go from there to decide whether I will need to alter the size of the bangle or not. I would hate to order it in a smaller version and then have it be too small. Again, thanks for all the help!

I love the WF bangle too! I thought that someone on here (NovemberBride?) said that WF couldn''t make the bangle any smaller. But it looks like they can? sslkrissi, please keep us posted on what WF says. I tried measuring my wrist (1 inch from the bone, going away from the elbow) and I got around 6 inches. Getting an accurate measurement is hard!

Snlee: It is really a lot harder than I thought! I am pretty sure the current version they offer will be too big, I am just not sure how much smaller it should be. As I mentioned before, I have been speaking with WF regarding the possibility of making a smaller version. So far I know that the version they sell cannot be cut down any smaller. But I will get the final answer in a few days on whether a seperate smaller version can be produced. We''ll see. I will keep you posted!

Mara: I haven''t heard from you yet. Are you around???

Thanks
