I love Frankie's taste in rings, and really loved her setting when it was the Michael B Paris setting with the eternity band. The VC Emilya is absolutely stunning, but I was wondering if anyone knows why Frankie decided not to stick with the Michael B and eternity band. WAs there a problem? I totally get if it was just wanting a different style, but I ask because I have the paris setting and considering wearing it with a spacer and eternity band such as hers, but wondering if there is something that was wrong with it...i.e. stones started falling out of the MB setting or something....I searched and did not see any posts on this. Just curious before I move forward with the eternity band. Thanks!

sorry for missing the thread dear !

i typed my response on my other thread but here it is again just in case :

" nothing wrong with the Michael B / Eternity set, i just fell in love with the halo setting and decided to pursue it ... i still have the 2.8mm eternity band that i would wear from time to time on its own, so i do support investing in a good eternity for sure ! and yes, you will definitely need a spacer if you do decide to wear both rings together ! "

hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions ! :wavey:

Thank you Frankie! That definitely puts my mind at ease. :) I do have more questions for you if you don't mind. I love your taste and would appreciate your feedback as I don't see too much on Michael B here. You should be a ring consultant! :)

I have the Paris without the melee on the head. I bought the last piece of the collection at a discount and my jeweler isn't carrying MB anymore. Therefore it wasn't custom made for my stone. I have a 1.6 asscher (6.5 mm x 6.5 mm). The setting is for a round. The jeweler said they would just reshape the head. I have held off on doing this as I don't want to compromise the integrity of the melee. it is also a size 6 and I am 5 3/4.

Questions:
1) do you think I should let my jeweler redo the head, or should I send back to MB? I don't want to have the jeweler do it and it not look right, or have stones start getting loose. I spoke to MB and they said they suggest remaking the head for $700-1000.
2) will sizing down 1/4 size compromise the melee?
3) do u think an eternity band similar to your old set would look good, or any other suggestions?

Thank you for any feedback!

One more...

Domyou think the 1 mm spacer was tiny enough or do you think 0.8 mm would be better. I don't want it to be too visible.

Thanks! :)
