Question for bezel pendant owners

I posted this question in RT but only got one reply (thanks Jen) so hopefully I''ll get more response here:

Is a 1mm chain too thin for everyday wear on a 0.50 bezel pendant? My jeweler is suggesting this size for a 16" cable chain. I''m thinking it may be too delicate.

What size would you suggest? Pictures are encouraged, of course

metro, I have the same concerns with one of my pendants that have a single solid micro curb. May I suggest that you have your jeweler run two chains through your mounting and solder them both together on the ends so you have only one jump ring and one lobster to clasp? That looks really nice too.
