Okay, just need opinions.
There is a position I want to apply for and there are two locations where I can work; one is as a sub-contractor and the other is as an independant contractor. The sub job has openings now and the independant one will have openings in a month or more. I have all of the qualifications.
The sub-contractor position will pay 1/3 of what the independant contractor position pays so clearly my goal is to get that independant job.
Both jobs are work as many hours as you like and pick your own days. So, I could work both jobs PT(to finish out my first contract) and they wouldn''t overlap.
My question, though, is if I''m contracted with the sub job for six months, would it be a turn off to the second employer if I''m already contracted even if I could work both positions?
For all I know, they may not even ask, but just in case. Just to point out: this line of work is ALWAYS contracted.
