First, I am fairly new here and you all are just great with your help and suggestions, I am loving it!
Second, I have always LOVE LOVE LOVED sapphires! My original ering was diamond with sapphires on each side and I wore it for 11 years before upgrading to an antique setting all diamond.
After reading several posts here, I am considering a pair of white sapphire studs instead of a much costlier diamond pair. I have had a pair of 1/2 carat diamond studs for several years, my hubby gave them to me when our daughter was born, but for a couple of years, I have wanted to upgrade them. That being said, the ones I have looked at are $5k plus, and I just can''t justify that for a pair of stud earrings!! So, what is the consensus here? What do you think of white sapphire sutds compared to diamond equilavents? Will anyone one the street be able to tell? Also, where to look? My best friend is getting married in March and I would like to make a decision and have the new bling by wedding time!
