I couldn''t find the answer to this so I thought I''d ask here. If you have a setting that is two-tone, is it possible to rhodium the white gold part and not get it on the yellow gold? Not just for prongs, like on an e-ring, but if the piece itself has both colors of gold?

Rowan, it should be no problem. The yellow gold will be coated with a solution, like nail polish. When the ring is immersed only the uncovered white gold will attract the rhodium.

For anyone unfamiliar with the plating process, it's described in this thread.

Thanks so much!
