Rowan, it should be no problem. The yellow gold will be coated with a solution, like nail polish. When the ring is immersed only the uncovered white gold will attract the rhodium.Date: 7/9/2006 5:00:04 PM

I couldn't find the answer to this so I thought I'd ask here. If you have a setting that is two-tone, is it possible to rhodium the white gold part and not get it on the yellow gold? Not just for prongs, like on an e-ring, but if the piece itself has both colors of gold?
