Question about re-sizing my CvB/Jovyn

I need to go up a 1/4 size on my Jovyn setting. I am wondering if I should just ask a local jeweler to size it, or if I should ask to send it back to Caysie?
I don't know any jewelers here, so I would be going off of yelp/referral.

I think my ring is 90/10 iridium, so I am wondering if the new person could somehow use a different mix of metal, which I obviously would not want to happen.

I know Caysie is very busy, generally, so I don't want to hassle her.
I'm probably overthinking it!

I think you'd be fine to have a local Jeweler do it just make sure they add more platinum not just stretch it.

Just know that if you have a local jeweler do it then it voids CvB's warranty. It's expressly written in her contract.

"The warranty on the setting will be void should a jeweler, who is unapproved by or unaffiliated with the CvB team, works on, or otherwise modifies, the ring being detailed above."

Ring sizing on a plain shank should be able to be done at any reputable jeweler (I'd use a high end one) assuming it is a small change of maybe one size or less. I personally wouldn't send my Vatche to GOG to have them send to Vatche to resize. I would do it here. I can't think of any reason I'd need a warranty on a solitaire ring. In fact I have never had issues with any jewelry I have ever had that I could have used a warranty. I also wouldn't want to be shipping my diamond back and forth. That really runs up the cost and adds time to being without my ring. (Just wanted to give you another viewpoint!)

If a ring has any pave on the shank, however, yes, I would only have the ringmaker size it.
